Orders That Can Be Edited
- Pending Payment:
- Fully editable.
- You can change order details like products, quantities, prices, billing/shipping information, and add/remove products.
- Ideal for cases where payment hasn’t been processed yet.
- On Hold:
- Fully editable.
- Changes to order items, addresses, shipping methods, and totals can be made.
- Failed:
- Fully editable.
- Since the payment failed, no irreversible actions have been performed, allowing you to modify details.
Limited Editability
For these statuses, certain aspects of the order can still be modified, but not the core details of items and totals:
- Processing:
- Limited editability.
- Shipping and billing addresses can be updated.
- Notes can be added.
- Refunds can be processed, but item changes (like adding/removing products) usually require canceling or refunding the order and creating a new one.
- Completed:
- Very limited editability.
- You can only update billing/shipping details or add private/customer notes.
- Products and quantities cannot be changed.
Orders That Cannot Be Edited
- Cancelled:
- Cannot be edited.
- This status indicates the order is no longer active.
- Refunded:
- Cannot be edited.
- The order is finalized, and refunds have already been processed.

Edit Order Details
If you need to make changes, check the order status first:
- In the order details page, you can:
- Update the Billing/Shipping Address.
- Add or remove products in the Order Items section.
- Change quantities or apply discounts
- Click Recalculate to update totals after making changes.
- Save the order by clicking Update.

Process Refunds
- If a customer requests a refund, click the Refund button in the order details page.
- Enter the refund amount and optionally add a reason.
- Process the refund via the payment gateway, or select Manual Refund if done offline
