Buy X Get Y : Buy 2 or more from Category A and get a 50% discount on 1 of the cheapest product
Go to Woocommerce > Discount Rules in your dashboard.
Click ADD NEW RULE button to add a new Rule Setting.
Once you have finished setting up the rules, click the SAVE & CLOSE button.
Example: Buy 2 or more from Category A and get a 50% discount on 1 of the cheapest product.
This scenario lets customers buy two products from Category A and receive a 50% discount on one of the cheapest items from the same Category A.

When the customer adds 2 or more products from the specified category one of the products would get a 50% discount.
